Nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Gatlinburg SkyPark is set to celebrate its 70th anniversary this summer! Since we opened our doors seven decades ago, the SkyPark has been a staple of Gatlinburg for locals and tourists alike. From its humble beginnings as a small scenic chair lift, to its evolution into one of the south’s top tourist attractions, the SkyPark has etched itself into the collective memory of generations. As the anniversary approaches, the park is filled with excitement, and looking forward to new expansions to come!

We will have 70th anniversary festivities beginning May 3 through August 31, with events on top of the mountain with giveaways and fun games. We encourage all guests to join us and our community in the festivities this summer as we celebrate and reminisce on the past 70 years. We look forward to all the memories we will make together in the future!
