The mountaintop destination, home to North America’s longest pedestrian cable bridge, Gatlinburg’s original chairlift, and Clayton’s Landing dining and viewing area, offers a full season of events included with park admission

GATLINBURG, Tenn. – May 5, 2026 — Gatlinburg SkyPark is heading into summer 2026 with its biggest season of programming to date. From live music series and patriotic celebrations to a surprise visit from Santa Claus in July, the mountaintop destination is offering a packed lineup of experiences that complement its signature views of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Perched 500 feet above downtown Gatlinburg and adjacent to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, SkyPark has grown into a full mountaintop destination since the opening of Clayton’s Landing, the 10,000-square-foot scenic viewing area and dining venue on the west side of the SkyBridge. Guests can now ride Gatlinburg’s original, and downtown’s only open-air chairlift to the summit, cross the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America with its glass floor panels, hike 1.5 miles of mountain trails, and settle into Clayton’s Landing for smash burgers at Smoky Mountain Smash and craft beverages and slushies at Smoky Mountain Sips.

This summer, we’re offering guests more reasons than ever to experience SkyPark,” said Randy Watson, General Manager of Gatlinburg SkyPark. “Whether you’re celebrating America’s 250th, hiking through mountain laurel blooms, or surprising your kids with a summer visit from Santa, we have something unforgettable waiting for you above the clouds.”

All events are included with general park admission unless otherwise noted, making SkyPark an exceptional value for families, couples, and visitors of all ages.
